COMMON QUERIES

WHAT DO I BRING TO CLASS?

Bring 1kg-2kg dumbbells and a "booty band" (resistance band) to use as part of our BURN® choreography. We do approximately 3-4 BURN® tracks per class. You can borrow clean weights from us if you are unable to source your own. I recommend using the weights if your body allows as they work well for gentle toning and building strength.
Please also bring plenty of water, a sweat towel (if you're a sweater like me!) and an exercise mat. 

DO I NEED TO BE A DANCER TO COME ALONG?

No way!! Im not a trained dancer and many other Jungle Body instructors are not. I just love to move my body to music. Sometimes I look amazing doing it (I think! lol) and other times Im sure I look awkward or silly. Im sure you may have the same experience. We do all sorts of choreography, not just dance. There is boxing, cardio, plyometrics, squats, hip hop, jazz, pop etc. The Jungle Body choreography is designed to be inclusive and not too complex at all. There are only 4 moves per song and we loop them throughout the track. The repetition helps us to learn the routine quickly, making it easier to follow along, which makes it more fun!

DO YOU ACCEPT CASH OR CARD?

Whatever your preference, you can pay cash or card upon arrival at class.

WHAT IS A "BOOTY BAND" AND WHERE CAN I BUY IT??

A booty band is also called a resistance band. The Jungle Body uses the firm, fabric elastic bands. NOT the stretchy silicone ones as they slip and slide too much when moving around. 
You can purchase booty bands at Cotton On, Kmart, Rebel Sport or try our amazing Jungle Body Booty Bands that you can by from us at class! 
You dont NEED this equipment to come to class. Its just a fun extra to help you feel the burn!
